What does it take to keep your eye? A cleverly written post about a world observation? Beautiful photography? A carefully controlled revealing of opinion, feelings, emotions and motivation?

Its ME! Of course its me!
How can one sum up themselves in a short blurb on some random webpage in a forgotten corner of the internet? The truth is, you can't. All I can do is present to you a list of facts about myself and let you draw your own conclusions about who I really am. Or who I want you to think I am.

With that, I suppose I should get started.

I am a mid-20's artist and musician living in a college town in Iowa, USA. I am a couple years out of college, where I worked hard for a degree in Graphic Communications that I really haven't used yet. I am also half of a small freelance design business by the name of D'nA, which I run with my best friend and verbal sparring partner, Dave. I pay the rent with a series of part-time jobs, usually in the food service and retail industry.

In my free time I like to read books, manga, blogs, and webcomics. I don't watch much TV, but when I do, its usually channels like Discovery, Nat Geo, and History. I also spend much of my time on a fun little mmorpg called Atlantica Online. Probably more time than I should.

I often label myself as Zen Buddhist, Taoist, Atheist, and Humanist. These labels are my pathetic attempt to sum up my philosophy and attitude on life. I don't think any of them will ever do the job completely. Life is my teacher and I am forever learning, growing, and changing.

What can you expect to see on this blog? Ramblings on life, love, gaming, and whatever else pops into my cluttered little mind. I don't expect you to agree with it, respect it, or even read it, but if it amuses you for a few minutes, then I'm happy. Enjoy!
